Our dentists can restore or "fill" many teeth with our compsite resin filling material and return a tooth to its original appearance and near its orginal physical strength. After your dentist has removed the decay and cleaned the area, the tooth is prepared for the composite material. Next a bonding agent is applied to the tooth and then the tooth-colored composite resin is placed in the tooth. During this process, a special ultra violet light "cures" or hardens the composite material. When the process is complete, our dentists will shape the composite material to the desired size and shape, trim off any excess material, and polish the final restoration. We can make cavities and old metal fillings disappear in one appointment.
